The RONGINEER M3 Fan Switch Kit was developed as an option for the M3 Fan Kit for
those guys who like to participate in autocross or track events where it is often necessary to sit in pre-grid or staging
lines. The kit allows manual override control of the fan by a switch.
The kit consists a wiring harness with the proper logic to permit manual control of the fan. The provision for connecting
the fan switch wire harness is already built into the main harness of the M3 Fan Kit.
The Fan switch Kit harness is designed to use the a common BMW switch like the ones used for the HAZ, DEF, A/C or foglights.
This results in maintaining an OEM look to the installation when the switch is installed in an unused location on the
instrument panel. The switch is not included in the kit as most enthusiasts have an extra switch or can easily locate one.
The installation shown on the left uses an A/C switch (on the left) for manual override control of the fan.
The provision for connecting the fan switch kit is already provided on the main harness of the M3 Fan Kit.
The proper control logic for the fan is built into the switch kit wire harness, including switch lighting.
The wire harness uses and OEM switch connector.
The kit can be easily installed within a half an hour.
The kit includes fully illustrated installation instructions.
