BRAKES

When restoring a car I always like to start with renewing, and if possible, upgrading the brakes.

FRONT BRAKES

  • The calipers were rebuilt.
  • The performance rotors are slotted and drilled.
  • The rotors and calipers were painted with high temperature paint to minimize corrosion and for appearance.
  • New Porterfield carbon metallic pads were installed.
  • Stainless braided brake hoses are installed
  • REAR BRAKES

  • The calipers were rebuilt.
  • The performance rotors are slotted and drilled.
  • The rotors and calipers were painted with high temperature paint to minimize corrosion and for appearance.
  • New Porterfield carbon metallic pads were installed.
  • Stainless braided brake hoses are installed
  • MASTER CYLINDER

  • The ABS system had been removed when I purchased the car.
  • A new master cylinder was installed.
  • The pedal rod was carefully adjusted so that the pedal height was perfect for heel & toeing.
